We, Catherine and Bill Luther, are an elderly couple with an active and healthy lifestyle. We live in the North West region of Petaluma in a 540 sq. ft. studio cottage in a beautiful, semi-rural compound. We seek a personal assistant for12 hours/week at $17/hourto help with cleaning, laundry, dishes, food preparation, gardening, health and wellness, and various other home projects. Hours are 2 – 5 any two non-consecutive days a week.
You are trustworthy, kind, respectful, reliable, and sensitive to our needs for quiet. You have excellent communication skills, love preparing healthy foods, enjoy cleaning, and have some gardening and computer skills. You are happy to assist us by providing these services:
Cleaning
· Washing dishes
· Laundry
· Vacuuming inside, sweeping outside
· Keeping refrigerator and kitchen surfaces tidy, clean, and organized
Food Preparation
· Making 3 - 5 different recipes of 4 servings each per week
· Juicing
Gardening
· Planting, watering, weeding, and harvesting two small raised vegetable / herb garden beds
· Watering potted plants
· Collecting and arranging flowers for home bouquets
Health and Wellness
· Reminding Catherine to take medications and supplements, and to order refills
· Assisting with natural healing remedies and practices such as herbal teas and footbaths
Other Projects
· Deep cleaning
· Computer file organization and software updates
