I'd like to occasionally rent a camper van to go fishing or visit the Sierra. I don't use one frequently enough to justify buying one, unless I got an incredible deal.

I have an excellent driving record and good insurance and am a long-time local. Please contact me if you have a van or small camper you'd like to rent occasionally.

There is an online service called Outdoorsy that connects RV owners who want to rent out theirs and people seeking to rent one. Insurance is part of the rental fee, and potential renters are vetted before renting. It is a win-win.
