Public Banking Bill AB 857 is slated to head to the Assembly floor this Thursday for a vote. We need all hands on deck for folks to call their assemblymember first thing tomorrow at their capital office and ask for an Aye vote on AB 857.

General heads-up: Having gotten internet access in my own apartment has made my life much easier, but I still don't always get a chance to check my email multiple times a day. It's 7PM Thursday, 5/23, and I just now saw this. Public Banking can help us transition to renewable energy and climate smart agriculture, as well as help cut the cost of infrastructure up to HALF - which we need in fire country. Without a public bank we will have a much harder time coping with whatever the climate crisis throws at us.
