One thing that I so appreciate about the Sebastopol Area Sr. Ctr. is the diversity of people who come there and how welcome they are, regardless of their gender identities, political beliefs, color of skin, country of origin, etc. The signs out front make it clear that all are welcome. There are so many good programs. It is very Sebastopudlian, and you do not even need to live in Sebastopol.

The participants in the Sr. Ctr. float with the theme of the 60s, since we are celebrating our 50th anniversary, had lots of fun and were well received. We were graced by Elvis Presley. And then one of our bald members miraculously grew long hair.

Yes, it was my favorite float, even though I walked with it (with my 2 dogs). I wanted to carry a rifle with a rose sticking out of the barrel, but I don't know anyone who has a rifle....that's good! Much, much fun. I think we all made grower older look like fun, and there IS a lot of fun to it.
