Non-Profit Final Passages’ monthly film and discussion evening continues with its February Movie:
Reach for Me
a dramedy directed by LaVar Burton, starring Seymour Cassel, Johnny Whitworth, Lacey Chabert, Alfre Woodard and Adrienne Barbeau.

Cantankerous old man Alvin (Cassel) is in a very nice Hospice facility and making life hell for everyone around him. Between talks with his dead wife, who he did not know how to love, his young new roommate, Kevin (Whitworth, Kevin’s beautiful girlfriend (Chabert), and a sassy woman in the facility (Barbeau), his attitude begins to shift to making the most out of the time he has left.
The movie shows 2 very different romances that we thought fit February, the month of love.
