Hello Neighbors,
We have a final deadline of November 30 to submit plans, get a building permit and have the civil engineers here to do the perk test .
If the ground won’t perk I think we’ll have to buy a demolition permit and tear down 33 years of our family’s labor and love. Demolition permit and carting away each piece of our home will cost probably about $15,000.
If the ground does perk we must pay the Civil engineers for permits and Site valuations so that the septic system design can go forward . I believe this aspect of our project will cost about $30,000 at which point we will have complied with the most important step to legalizing our family home.
Weathered perks or not we really need your help in anything that you can donate to our go fund me campaign will be very much appreciated.
thanks so much. Here is the link:

Please take a moment to make a donation . We are very grateful for our beautiful, kind, compassionate community filled with loving humans.

LIVES ARE AT STAKE! PLEASE HELP!

The DEADLINE is closing in on this family who WILL LOSE THEIR HOME because they haven't received enough donations to cover the costs involved in pleasing the PRMD. Their GoFundMe account was started in February 2018, and the amount asked for was $15,000. In all these months, they've only had $2559 in donations. Bonnie Grand, the matriarch of the family in her 70's has just undergone spinal surgery, and will need to recover for the next 6-8 weeks, but she may not have a home to recover in.

Please make a donation, by giving up something that may be a guilty pleasure for you, but would help save their home. This could be your mom, sister, aunt, or grandma. It's never too soon to show kindness, but many times it can be too late.

Don't let this happen to this family!

Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas that could bring in enough money to save Bonnie's home?

The Go Fund Me campaign has only brought in a small fraction of what's needed.

Bonnie will be going in soon for back surgery, and will be looking at homelessness if her home is demolished. A 70 yr old disabled woman, living on the street, isn't a pretty picture, and her hope is fading fast. I'm concerned that she may give in to despair as it closes in on her last efforts.

I know that it's not as much fun to give money to a cause, as it is to pay to be entertained. Should Bonnie just give up hope on her community of 30 years, and just accept that it doesn't have the heart that she imagined?

How would you feel, knowing that $10 or $20 from you and the compassionate members of our community could have not only saved a home....but a life?

What would inspire you to help? It will soon be too late. Please don't let this happen! Show Bonnie what kind of community this really is, even if it means giving up a Starbucks drink or two.

I know there are wealthy people in our community. Are they indifferent? Or maybe they only do "planned giving" to get a tax write off?

Would you help someone in grave danger right before your eyes? Or look the other way, thinking it's not your problem? Or maybe your eyes only see life digitally, and not in flesh and blood, especially if the blood is real?

Please don't wait until it's too late to show compassion for this devastating situation! Allow your heart to be touched~ It's never too soon to show kindness.
