Our Prius, parked on Calder Avenue in front of our home, was damaged by a blue imported pickup truck that left the scene. This happened at 5:15 pm on Monday. I have reported this information to the police.
Description of vehicle involved – Color: Blue, Make: Mitsubishi, Model: Pickup Truck, Year: mid-1990s (likely), License Plate: Unknown
Other details: Last seen headed down Calder towards Jewel Avenue. The truck likely sustained fairly severe damage to the right front corner (turnsignal lens broken, etc.). It may also have some white paint from our car transferred on to it. A witness said that it looked like a work truck with some dents, etc. I have attached two screen shots from a neighbor's security camera that shows what we believe to be the suspect vehicle, along with a photo of an undamaged example. Please note the mismatched passenger's side wheels and what looks to be peeling clear coat paint on the hood and roof of the suspect vehicle.
Please be on the lookout for this vehicle. If seen, please note the license plate number and call the Sebastopol PD at 829-4400, Case #18-0921. Thank you- we appreciate your help with this.
