Hi Community ~

Do you know an affordable, highly qualified mobile RV repair person fairly near Sebastopol? I have a serious roof water leak and several other issues that require immediate attention. Most of the RV shops are still slammed from the fires.

I'm happy to drive to a non-mobile person/shop as well, if you can recommend a good one that can see me in the next few days.

Thanks so much!!

H!
As a newbie trailer resident in an older trailer, I've needed to call Athena Coach Works (888) 520-9313 twice now for a furnace malfunction and a leak in my kitchen plumping. They were very professional and experienced and I was glad to have them arrive. The down side is they come down from Eureka and charge a sizeable trip charge. The first time they fixed my problem in 10 min. and didn't even charge me for labor. I haven't found anyone who will do this work locally so I'm hoping someone else will respond with a referral. The alternative is to take your RV to Marlo's RV Service or All American RV Service in Santa Rosa, listed with good reviews. Good luck! ~Teri

Thanks, TeriJane. Marlo's was my first choice, but they only service RVs less than 10 years old. All American is not currently working due to a health issue. I did find a local person to come out today but was flabbergasted by how mobile repair people charge: $100 for the visit, plus a one-hour minimum. So tightening the gasket, which took about 20 minutes from start to finish and testing the result, cost me $210. Won't be doing any further repairs this way!!

Gosh, that's crazy pricing! This seems like an open opportunity for a handy peorson with experience with RVs to start their own service business, right? (hint, hint, hint....)
