So far I have seen only one mention here of Motech wireless service. They offer line of sight (or near line-of-sight) internet connection from English Hill (Burnside Road) and Hawk Hill (Jonive Road) in west county. Anyone have experience with them?

Hi All, I'm moving to a rural spot west of Occidental which has service from Mo Tech. Anyone have experience or advice to share? Sonic isn't available there; not sure what else is...Thanks!

Also, I'm in a quandary, wanting reliable internet service and wondering what I can do to mitigate electromagnetic radiation from wireless.

We have used Motech here on Sanford Rd. For about a year or so - the service is pretty consistent, and the company is highly responsive if there are any issues. I highly recommend them!

I used Motech or about 5 years. They installed a microwave dish about 100 feet up in a fir tree to get a signal to my home on Green Hill Rd. A much better and cheaper deal for me than using a satellite connection. The problems have been due to repeater equipment failures that were not Motech's doing. Nice people, easy to work with.
