Hi folks,
Our group - Sonoma County - Solidarity with Standing Rock that formed on 9/24/16 - need a forum for people to request or offer carpools to events. Is there a good forum for that on Wacco?
We did not organize the HUGE and hugely successful Standing Rock benefit at the Sebastopol Grange on 11/6 with over 600 attendees (including tents out in back), but we certainly did all we could to support it. We did help organize the very successful Withstands With Wolves event at the Grange with over 100 attendees. The Grange has 200 chairs, but only 67 marked parking spots. So for large events at the Grange, carpooling is required.
There are more and more political actions being called for to resist the new administration and more. Carpooling is essential for many for large actions such as the ones in SF, or the very large Women's March in Santa Rosa on Jan. 21 (estimated at well over 5000 participants!)
What forums is a good place to send people on Wacco to carpool?
