Reasonable comparison of present day capitalism to feudalism, serfdom, and slavery; as in: all of the above aforementioned; IE: (add the term) “wage slave” as in reference to 'capitalism', which is supposedly the least subjective to the most harsh and extreme abuses; whereas; that word, when used: (“slavery”) is so commonly used to excuse the other so-called “not slavery” systems of 'government'.

Richard Wolff (https://www.rdwolff.com/), as a professor of economics does good to explain what I have known about the current American political/economic system, (for decades), and that, (how, in fact), all of which have a common theme; whereas a tiny minority of the population controls the wealth and the decision making for everybody else.

I need to remember this so I can have more 'proof' that I am not an idiot, that there are different levels of what I at least do call “slavery”...
...Whereas in reality, there is no escape from any of the systems mentioned above, only escape, if you could call it that, is completely ending that system and putting something in it's place that is vastly different than the “employer/employee (as is in capitalism), Lord/"Vassal"... ... serfdom, slave (as in feudalism, serfdom, and slavery; which may be all in together within a single power/politic governing system)... ...AND; not going into a fascist governing economic (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fascism#Economy).

The weekly presentation on KPFA @ 10:00 AM on Fridays is called “Economic Update”, it is hosted by professor of economics Richard Wolff.
The presentation this last Friday on KPFA Economic Update really explains what I have been trying to say for many years as I stated above in this posting.

We here on waccobb have had vigorous discussions and debates on this sort of topic before.
I thought it would be worth a look-back to see what was said, so I did a search for some of my past posts and found one that even today is still interesting and show insight from 'both' sides of the 'debating'.

Specifically, relating to the “Tea Party” (as of lately (https://www.salon.com/2016/07/06/the_disturbing_data_on_republicans_and_racism_trump_backers_are_the_most_bigoted_within_the_gop/) as compared) and what was trending in August 2011 (https://www.teapartyexpress.org/date/2011/08) and where we are now in 2017 with the “Trump Administration (https://duckduckgo.com/?q=president+trump+administration&t=h_&ia=news)”... ...ET: ALL (https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2016/us/politics/donald-trump-administration.html?_r=0).
On The thread called:
“Survey’s surprising finding: tea party less popular than atheists and Muslims (https://www.waccobb.net/forums/showthread.php?82619-Survey%92s-surprising-finding-tea-party-less-popular-than-atheists-and-Muslims)”

But wait don't go there just yet (I am just suggesting)... ...There are some long-winded posts there, so I link where it is on the particular thread where it is more pertinent to the “slavery” aspect on this particular topic (the radio broadcast on KPFA on Friday January 27 / 2017 @ 10:00 AM)... ...all-be-it the waccobb post I linked is long-winded:
https://www.waccobb.net/forums/showthread.php?82619-Survey%92s-surprising-finding-tea-party-less-popular-than-atheists-and-Muslims&p=139735#post139735

If you are still reading this and are not into checking out the past postings, that is understandable, but at least try to check out the available on line Economic Update from the link below...
Specifically, on that Economic Update radio (and web) broadcast, on the mp3, podcast, or listen now links; ...The whole show is worthy of listening to but, the part that I am referring to here starts at the beginning of the second half @ 30 minuets and 15 seconds (30:15).
https://kpfa.org/episode/economic-update-january-27-2017/

Furthermore, unlike myself, a virtual, so-called 'under-educated' 'individual', who has experienced much push-back and even shutdown on this exact subject; it is at least reassuring to me that I, as being supposedly (so) 'under-educated', and therefore (at times) not worth listening to by even my closest 'left-sided' friends when the topic of 'slavery' comes up and I decide to chime in...

...At least Richard Wolff who is a very educated Professor of Economics says almost the exact same as I have (tried to say and is essentially what I meant to say anyway), (but) Richard Wolff is actually EDUCATED in the field of economics... ...Whereas the term I try to make clear pertaining to today is not the literally in-bondage with shackles and chains etc form of "slavery"; no what I have been referring to all along is what I and many others now refer to as "wage slave"...

...Here are links to various Wikipedia links on a long page on the subject of "Wage slavery (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wage_slavery)"; Take your pick, they all apply in one way or another:

Also,
Does any of what is said in this video interview sound familiar in relation to what is in today's happenings and news about political and economics relations in US and world, etc. to you?
