This is the only place on the internet this message is being posted by me.
Please: if you share this do not post to walls or groups, only private, one on one messages, please.
At the age of 64, after searching for true community much of my life I am starting a community in South America and will build it one or two new people at a time.
The point of this posting is to reach people who are truly interested in harmonious intentional community. I am creating it---and will be co-creating it--- near the coast of Ecuador. At the moment, it’s just me, two cats and a dog siting on 18 acres of natural beauty, including over an acre of lawn and over 300 fruit trees...and a big, almost complete community home.
I am posting this notice here on the suggestion of a woman I know as a massive expression of heart. I am not posting it anywhere else because the popular places to share stuff are maybe not so spiritually smart places to be hanging around. And I am not needing to convince anyone of anything. The intent here is to connect with receptive hearts.
I don’t tell many about the vision, because it is clear to me that the vast majority are simply not ready, so why would I waste their time or mine? The larger vision is to assist in a substantial way in the awakening of humanity.
So this is what the community is about: Nurturing each other and the native community as we live in drama-free harmony, and regularly send loving energy to Gaia, to the apparently bigger Us. What is offered initially is shelter, community and an opportunity to be of service… and to grow yourself spiritually.
Currently, I am putting finishing touches on the main house. It will have two kitchens, a media room with projected movies/images, community room, upper large porch and exercise area. The place is a few miles from the Pacific Ocean, and about 8 miles to the beach in a town that has some gringo population and good surfing.
The place already has lots of mangoes, cacao, oranges, lemons, noni and coconut. We will be adding moringa and sacha inchi, and whatever crop mix the community decides. All organically.
Will have a truck for community member use next month, along with a motorcycle and scooter.
So who am I looking for?
People truly ready to live in harmony with their community. That means helping support the intentional community members and the local indigenous community. Especially since the earthquake in April, there is a lot of poverty here and many go to sleep hungry or with insufficient shelter. My intention is to grow a community of people who speak English, and, if they have not already become conversant in Spanish, then to give it their best shot to learn Spanish to the point where they can converse about basic things. The people in this country, as I experience it, have what I call mas corazon: more heart. And since the earthquake, lots of folks are having tough time.
Once we have seven people living in this community I am calling Somewhere (inspired by the song from the movie West Side Story), we will vote on just about everything in determining our direction and how and who we will serve as a group.
We will share in the farm profits as we create them.
So who am I most directly offering this now?
· People who either already well know Spanish and English or are English speakers willing to prioritize speaking Spanish, too.
· A dog person who can train a new puppy (not yet found!) and a not-so-smart 4 year old dog who recently lost his brother and is mourning!
· Bamboo house builder
· Bamboo furniture builder
· Organic farmer. While it would be great if you had lots of experience in it, the major qualifier is your consciousness, your willingness to practice living in harmony.
· Financial manager/treasurer.
· Community outreach agent. Merging with the local community to determine the most pressing situation in which we can be of service. This is something two people might do part-time.
· People who like to create art. This might be a part time thing as well. Part of what we are creating here is a sculpture garden including water features, rotating art on the walls up and downstairs, opportunities for artists to meet with and talk to people about it and its inspiration.
· People who like to spend time in silence. There are lots of places here to be quiet and alone.
· People who like to have a social life without having to go into town so frequently. Getting to town is about a two mile walk followed by a ten minute bus ride. Or a $7 cab ride from home. The idea here is to have neighbors you might choose to connect with however often it works for you all.
· Ones who can offer feminine input (and am open to masculine input, too) on the awakening protocol I offer. For balance, this is currently a high priority. Please review the website before responding to this posting, as It will give you a clearer picture on what the basic intention is with this community and with my work. https://simpleawakeningtools.com (https://simpleawakeningtools.com/)
· Someone to help get my luggage from San Diego to Ecuador. Much of what is there is for decoration of the community home.
I have rooms available now, all offered on a trial basis so that we can see if there is a mutual fit for longer term connection here. Each person’s situation will be handled individually as far as financial arrangements are concerned. While this is not a profit-making business, I am looking for responsible people who are willing to work and to share in the profits.
For more information, write me at [email protected]. You can ask for the PDF updates beyond the November one attached here that include photographs. May have phone connection soon. Since I go into town for internet, please allow up to three days for response to your emails.
All Love, Carlo Ami
