Underground Garage Gallery Groupe
www.uggg.itgo.com
We are artist that want to show our art but are tired of the galleries that don't have time for the artist. We don't charge commissions or rent fancy high dollar storefronts. You won't find wine and cheese here, just an artist and their garage work space. Many artist are great painters, sculptors, photographers, [etc] but don't have gallery representation. Some artist have even approached a gallery only to be brushed off by the snobby owner. In my case, I have even had my art stolen by a gallery that closed down and locked the doors. The UGGG is an underground collective of artist that are showing their art out of their garages. All you need to join this groupe is to put the "G" logo in a front window of you house. Notify the groupe by going to yahoo and join the UGGG
https://groups.yahoo.com/group/uggg.
Tell other artist about this project and encourage them to participate. Work together in your area to promote garage shows on the same day, allowing patrons to visit everyone in the groupe. Create a map to all the other UGGG's in your area and help each other out as a collective.
