I want to take this opportunity of calm on Election Day to thank everybody who contributed to our passionate discussions of local, state and national races! It was an honor to have various candidates directly engage with us (Jared Huffman, Lynda Hopkins, Marion Chase, Tom Lynch, Noreen Evans, Craig Litwin, Neysa Hinton, Jonathan Greenberg, Michael Carnacchi, and Jim Horn) along with many community leaders.

We were all enriched by the thoughtful and (mostly) respectful contributions by the supporters of the various candidates and measures that helped us to further understand the considerations of the questions that we are asked to vote on. And last, but perhaps most importantly, I want to thank our many members who followed our active discussions, either by just reading and or asking important questions that helped many others.

Thank you all for your participation and contributions! :waccosun:

Agree wholeheartedly with Barry here. And for those who are exhausted and anxious about the aftermath of the campaigns and the political rifts which have appeared among neighbors, have a look at a book review in this week's (10/7/16) New Yorker magazine: "The Enemy Next Door: Do good neighbors make good citizens? (https://www.newyorker.com/magazine/2016/11/07/red-neighbor-blue-neighbor)"
