Anybody heard anything good or bad about Serenity Villa, a new board and care place on Petaluma Ave in Sebtown? Or have any other recommendations?

info regarding performance as well as complaints re board and care/assisted living homes is available through the state of California.
Look for greater than average complaints (all will have them) and if something where the state stepped in re a violation, how quickly and whether at all, they were addressed.
Also beware of a "new board and care" if at an address where another b & c existed, which might be the case here.
In other words, do your homework-in depth!- and follow the trail. Also talk to clients' caregivers and former clients.
I do know years ago when I considered moving my mother up here I checked out a board and care home at the address you named, and it was rife with violations. But that was then, this is now and a "new business".
Just...do your detective work.
