Yesterday Governor Brown signed into law AB1066 which ends overtime discrimination against farm workers. Congratulations to the United Farm Workers whose long term struggle for equality with other workers has finally borne fruit. And further congratulations to the government of California for finally getting this done. May these results spread across the United States to wherever farm workers labor for long hours with no overtime compensation.
