I dutifully watched a bunch of the RNC. Pretty scary, even when they weren't going out of their way to be scary (I'm looking at you, Donald...)
The clouds have broken, and the DNC has hobbled to the starting line but has picked up speed and spirit quite quickly.
As much as Hillary ethics are questionable or any other beef you may have for her, the alternative makes her the only choice (if you live in a swing state). I think Bernie's speech was a decent attempt to bring over his supporters, but more works needs to be done.
My two favorite parts were Michelle's and Sarah Silverman's speeches which are below.
