I got my mail in ballots for voting in June. I was looking forward to voting for Bernie Sanders...
I forgot that I was registered for the Green Party.
Damn!
I deserve a public spanking.
Any volunteers?

We have 15 days to change parties and be able to vote for the Democrat Preliminaries. That means change your parties by May 24 AND then you can vote for Bernie. NO EXCUSES now and NO Spankings! Ok?

I think you can still change your party til May 23rd. I just changed mine online- very easy. I don't have the website anymore- Ca gov something.
And you still might get spanked if you play your cards right.

TAKEN CARE OF!!!
I went to the Voter's Registrar's Office where the County admin buildings are and re-registered to vote and I declared myself a Democrat (I still get an icky feeling when I say that). I had to "surrender my ballot" and then sign a form asking for a new ballot. A few minutes went by and they processed everything and handed my new ballot. Astonished, I asked if I could fill out my new ballots right then and there and hand them into to her and she said, 'Yes.'
Wow! After having walked in about 15 minutes I was able to straighten out everything and I could have voted on the spot if I had wanted to. But I had things to do and I'll probably turn in my ballot tomorrow or the day after.
