I have resonated with this since I was a child. At 6, I remember asking myself "Why am I here?" It wasn't until my early 40's that I had a succinct answer- "To inspire, encourage, empower, and support". This knowingness has guided my life, and will continue until my last breath, which I hope isn't too far in the future.

I was trying to fit this person into one of the varied positions on the autistic spectrum or any of the numerous other classifications but i couldn't.

Once, go with the flow was a wise thought, but it seems the ones of care can't justify that direction anymore.

Being wise doesn't necessarily mean happiness but if you breathe enough oxygen you will become wise and isn't that what were all here for?

Attempting to put people in boxes usually doesn't work for us or for them. Labeling is an effort to separate us from the One that we actually are.

Becoming wise is a noble goal, and there is one beyond, of sharing that wisdom to empower others. I'm not at all sure that everyone who breathes oxygen will become wise. Breathing is simply fundamental to living. Or our planet would be in much better shape than it is.

Happiness is a feeling, like sadness, and shifts from time to time. Wisdom, once gained, cannot be lost. Once we become aware, we cannot become unaware. But we can, and do choose to ignore our wisdom occasionally, in favor of a temporary pleasurable risk. I can definitely relate!
