But seriously, folks, there was actually some serious substance there, too
1) Cruz's border adjustable tax, where exports wouldn't be taxed but imports would. It's an interesting idea...
2) Kasich was sane and reasonable, and as one commentary put it "impressed everybody except Republican primary voters".
3) In addition to getting points for taking Cruz's prompting to breathe (see above) I give him big points for doing something I've wanted to see a politician do for a long time: proudly defending changing his mind. No matter that, IMO, he changed from the right position to the wrong position on H1-B visas, I was thrilled to see him to say he changed his mind and not run from it.
