If you have read my op-ed I sent out about three weeks ago, The Most Important Month In The Next 10,000 Years: This February In Texas (https://medium.com/@Jwes115/the-most-important-month-in-the-next-10-000-years-this-february-in-texas-b01b048458ac), which is a logical deduction from the famous oceanographer, Sylvia Earle Quote, "These next 10 years will be the most important 10 years in the next 10,000 years," or will read it now, you hopefully will agree that if you cannot come to Texas right now, you will at least do all you can financially (directed to Texas efforts) or via Texas phone banking from home ( https://go.berniesanders.com/page/content/txphonebank/ ) to enable Bernie to win here in Texas, the state that has more than half of all Super Tuesday delegates, and more than four times the total delegates SouthCarolina has!

IN the past few week, I, with the help of two local Texan students, and professional probono digital marketing (adwords and FB campaign ads) talent it took me a long 3 day wkend to recruit (having no budget), were miraculously able to do the following which has brought we believe, looking at the analytics, at least 100 more volunteers in just this past 4 days at somewhere between $4-6/vol, either to Texas from out of state and/or activated potential volunteers to go to local Texas offices to volunteer: (on top of nearly 100 vols I had personally recruited going around San Antonio face to face since Feb 1st).
Created (the Texas students and I)the website, www.BernieSandersTexas.com (https://www.berniesanderstexas.com/), which for the first time since the campaign began here in Texas, makes it easy for potential volunteers to find the location, email, and phone for the main Bernie offices in Texas. Until I and my my two Texas fellow volunteers, created the site, and I found the adwords money to drive traffic to the site, it was almost impossible for people here or outside the state to quickly and easily find the email and phone for whatever city office and campaign manager they wanted to contact to offer their services. A huge frustration that probably cost the campaign at least 200-300 volunteers for February alone. Absolutely amazing and tragic, doubly so if you read my The Most Important Month In The Next 10,000 Years: This February In Texas (https://medium.com/@Jwes115/the-most-important-month-in-the-next-10-000-years-this-february-in-texas-b01b048458ac), , which underscores how key Bernie winning Texas is for him to go on to become the party's nominee. (This cost me only $100.)
After days of searching (with very little money to offer from my own pocket(, I found the digital marketing (adwords) talent (10 years experience, a top pro at a company called Advantix) willing to donate the adwords campaign expertise (probably at least $700 value), and raised the $400 for the adwords costs to drive traffic to the site among anyone searching anything from "volunteer for bernie in texas" to "Houston office for Bernie Sanders" and many many other keyword phrases
Found a highly competent experienced Bernie-devoted Facebook ad strategist to implement the companion facebook ad campaign and raised $300 for those cost, which has proved even slightly more effective at getting traffic to the campaign office contact info website.
Since the FB campaign is proving slightly more effective than the adwords campaign, targeting the members of PDAmerica and DemocracyforAmerica (the most progressive dem groups) in Texas and adjoining nearby states and also NYC (Texas being also a perfect weather vacation spot for those battling cold weather), we now want to go after members, specifically from more likely to be more militant environmental orgs, and hence more likely to come to Texa, such as GreenPeace and CitizensClimateLobby. And if it doesn't motivate them to come here it should motivate them to spend more time phonebanking Texas from home by going to https://go.berniesanders.com/page/content/txphonebank/
But we need at least $300 to cover it, and keep in mind I've been working full time since Jan 29 pro bono, and my professional help gratis as well so far.
Whether you decide to help us, or donate directly to the BernieSanders.com national campaign, Ihope you have a way to ensure your funds will go to targeting Texas, which has more than 4x the number of Demo Party delegates than does South Carolina.
