Greetings:
Many Rivers is happy to welcome back Raphael Block for an evening of poetry and music.
Raphael Block's poetry , infused with spirit, speaks to earth's call for a heartfelt response to our global crisis. Born on a kibbutz, he spent much of his adult life in London. He has lived in Sebastopol for many years. A long-time meditator, his poetry gives us back a reflection of our own heartbeats.
David Field, who will provide music on the guitar, has a unique, romantic and flowing style with a rare talent to perfectly adapt his classical training to contemporary music. His sensitive arrangements weave a beautiful tapestry with Raphael's words.
Bhavani Judith Tucker will be a special guest at the event.
Date: Thursday, February 11th
Time: 7:30 PM
Where: Many Rivers Books & Tea, 130 S. Main St., Sebastopol
