I met Bob, the mgr/chef who showed me around the cafeteria. Very impressive.

The grand opening celebration last Saturday of Sonoma West Medical Center, SWMC, was so impressive. Hundreds of people were there and many restaurants donated lots of food. There was music, dancing, and raffle prizes. Those folks know how to throw a party. But, the hospital still needs donations because they are waiting for their new Medicare number, and until they get that, they are not being paid for their billing. I needed a chest xray to take to a Santa Rosa doctor's office and went to SWMC. Two emergencies had arrived before me, but the technician took me quickly to make sure I was finished before any orders from the emergency room. I have nothing but praise and admiration for all our hospital is doing. Please think of the hospital if you need lab work or xrays, etc.

I also attended this party, which packed the Sebastopol Cultural Center with wall-to-wall people. It was lots of fun, with excellent food and good conversations.
