I wasn't able to post the news story about 90 mailboxes robbed overnight in Sierra Madre. But, it made me aware that since our mail delivery is now in the evening instead of the morning, our mail is exposed and vulnerable to theft. We don't have a designated mail pick up person in our household, so sometimes stuff sits overnight, due to the weather, or forgetting about it.
During this season, many people send cash presents. Also, many on line orders of small items go in the mailboxes. According to one person in Sierra Madre, even a lock didn't stop the theft.
Solutions anyone?
