“Wealthy individuals, such as casino magnate Sheldon Adelson, hedge fund manager Paul Singer, super PAC organizer and former hedge fund manager Tom Steyer, and former New York mayor Michael Bloomberg, by means of their obscenely exorbitant campaign contributions to the candidates of their choosing, actually decide who will be U.S. president,” Weiler tells the Tehran Times.
