Dear Waccos - NOW IS THE TIME TO SPEAK UP - OR LOSE OUR COAST TO WINE INTERESTS.
Below is the link to article about the meeting for public opinion -- about rewriting the general plan along Sonoma Coast to change agricultural zones to agritourism.
The last meeting to voice public opinion about the new proposed General Plan for the Sonoma coastline is THIS MONDAY SEPT 14 at 4pm at the TIMBER COVE fire station.
Those that graze animals & grow crops should note that a proposed change is to rezone areas from agricultural to agritourism, led by wine industry investment groups. This would open the coastline to BIG DEVELOPMENT. If you love the coast & respect how precious & vulnerable it is, please show up. Tell your friends. Share it on social media. Write letters & make phone calls. Let's set a precedent of blocking invasive development rather than opening up sensitive areas to it.
