Yet law enforcement officers across the land are taking property and cash from citizens without even having to prove that person guilty of a crime. Ask Sacramento to fix this flaw!

This practice, called "civil asset forfeiture" can be reined in with SB 443. The bill requires a defendant to be convicted of a crime before cash or property can be permanently seized. More than 70% of Californians agree that this is the right course of action.
