This afternoon I came across a deceased dog in a ditch on the 116, just about across the road from the Permaculture Center, near the swap meet grounds. It was a stoutly built mostly brown dog with some black on the face and white on the paws, maybe a chow/basenji type mix with shorter coarse fur. I don't think it was a young dog and I imagine it belonged to someone. I am posting in case someone is looking. Poor fellow or girl- not sure which, so very heartbreaking to find.
