Folks -
I am a single gal in my early sixties with a fixed income who finally answered the siren call
of AARP ads related to their partner, Hartford Insurance.
I have had Geico auto coverage and been very happy with them for about 15 years and so was
surprised to find that
a) Hartford appears to offer better coverage for less BUT
b) some of their coverage categories were not parallel to the Geico categories (and
when I spoke with a Hartford person in search of help, found his answers dodgy or just
content free).
c) A couple of people have told me that I don't "need" all the coverage I have. Unfortunately
they are not insurance professionals and so couldn't really explain why......
Consequently I would like to speak to someone who understands all this gobbledy gook
(I'm no dummy but it would help if they could put it into plain English) so I can make
sound decisions about both coverage levels and carrier - lowering my premium rate as
I do....
