<?xml:namespace prefix = o /><o:p></o:p>Looking for Musicians,Singers,Dancers, Actors, Poets and Artists to put on a Fall Festival. Tentative Date for Saturday, October 14<SUP>th</SUP>, <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 /><st1:time hour="20" minute="0">8PM</st1:time>-we get tired (roughly <st1:time hour="0" minute="0">midnight</st1:time>). This would be in Downtown Sebastopol off Main Street at Blue Haven Studio of Yoga and the Arts. This is a 1,100 sq. ft. space with vaulted ceilings, wood floors (no damaging shoes please) a great surround sound system, and radiant heating in the floors.
Planning a Celebration of joy and pleasure where all artists can perform and/or share their art. Sort of an “open mike” night but, we would like to also allow for dancing instruction for the attendees, for example. Artists can display their works for free. This would be open to the public and very relaxed yet, organized enough for everyone to get a chance to do their thing. Probably with padding/pillows on the floor as well as chairs. Beverages and light snacks offered.
<o:p></o:p>The ideal night would consist of music, poetry, possible a couple of short scenes from plays, belly dancing, modern dance, art pieces around the space and so on. It would begin with performances and flow into the floor being cleared and all participants dancing and socializing to recorded music. Please offer your ideas as well!
