I have some short slabs of walnut, 2" x 24" wide, that need to be resawn. Do you know someone in the area who might be able to do this?

I've done a fair amount of work with Black Walnut from Calico Hardwood. Although I brought the wood home to burn, I've since used it a lot fro projects.
What dimensions are you looking for? If you want this cut to 1x24, I can't help. However, I can cut most any other dimension.
For a sample of my work, you can go to the Nectary at the Barlow and look at the stool tops.
My table saw is 3 Hp and with the right blade, it cuts this with ease.
