According to the U.S. Census Bureau, white people have another 30 years to enjoy being America's majority race. But come 2045 (https://mic.com/articles/106252/the-year-white-people-will-become-a-minority-in-america-has-been-declared), the white population will make up less than 50 percent of the American population for the first time ever.

So what's a privileged white person to do? Luckily for Caucasians everywhere, "The HuffPost Show" put together a helpful guide to ease the white transition into life as a minority.

To your observation I would like to add that harm is not exclusive to any race or ethnicity. (I don't think that there is a "harming" code in White DNA, for example, or more so than with any group.) The main point that I want to get across is simply a statistical and demographic forecast of what America is going to look like in about 30 years, which is a human generation. In 2044, I will be 83, if I even make it to being that old.

This observation about the future of American demographics is tied in deeply with other major debates going on today, such as Climate Change and overpopulation (primarily worldwide). There is a lot more politics going on in the U.S. that is behind race, ethnicity, religion, sex, social class, and other important issues when it comes to public policy and the enactment of laws and their implementation. The aggregate social impacts of policies based on demographics and other issues can have devastating effects if statutes are not well authored. Poorly written or even egregious public policies, both foreign an domestic, can be the result of ignorance, powerful interest groups such as the wealthy, racism, sexism, classism, religion (gay marriage, LGBT rights in general, public prayer, abortion, etc), and other vital, social concerns.

What we need is education, tolerance, far greater public investment, public outreach and education regarding these issues, and so on, in order to successfully tackle social challenges and opportunities with effective public policy, programs, administration, and implementation.


I think that this will be a positive step, since white people have done the most harm to people, animals, and all other living beings on the planet.
