Hi,
I need some help with feral cats.

There are at least 3 adults that I can see. Just this morning I saw an adult walking up the neighbor's drive with three scraggly teenage kittens following her - orange, grey, black. I need to catch them ASAP. I can rent or by traps and take them to get neutered/spayed. I doubt they can be tamed - they are so stealthful in these woods already -any sound of human and they bolt. They can stay here, I just would like to catch them and have then neutered/spayed.

What I need is help with footwork - figuring out where to place the traps etc. We live on rented 5 acres of unfenced field/wooded land and I'm trying to get ready for surgery next week and not in the greatest health right now. Any experts available for advice/consult?
We are off of Bodega Highway between Wagnon and Barnett Valley Rd.
Thanks
Dorothy

I SUGGEST you contact FORGOTTEN FELINES. They will help you in some way, I am pretty sure. Maybe you could even put up some kind of temporary fence of mesh. I have a picture somewhere that I have known a neighbor who had one and it works fine.

Call Forgotten Felines in Santa Rosa (I am out of town right now so I do not have the phone number). This purpose of this oirganization is to trap feral cats, fix them and return them to their colonies. Not only do they fix the cats but they test them for feline lukemia, give them shots, and advantage.

Forgotten Felines is currently doing a wonderful job in Cazadero with a colony of over 20 cats. This is a non profit, so of course if you can handle the care of the cats as you say, I am sure it would be appreciated.

When you call you can talk to anyone however the person that I have been dealing with most lately is Shellie...I believe that she is the trapping coordinator.

I (Paul - 829-6913) may be able to help with this. Let me know if/as necessary.

Just got back from three weeks in Europe and am still jetlagging but wanted to know if your ferals were trapped and spay/neutered. If not, I can help. Did Forgotten come through for you?
