This is likely NO exercise: https://www.naturalnews.com/049180_Operation_Jade_Helm_military_drill_martial_law.html.

Look at it carefully -- beginning in July, and "lasting for EIGHT weeks".
That is August into September. Frequency Shift event.

I don't know what we could do about this, but being forewarned is a way to realize what's happening. I would say one action is to reduce our exposure to any confrontation that would be most likely to happen in cities, like SF.

This does seem like a preparation for when TSHF, which seem inevitable. Most of us may be at their mercy. And we know the military doesn't have much of that.

This seems like a good time to be connected to alternative news sources so we may actually be informed, rather than distracted.

I look forward to hearing from the community on this topic.

Thanks for sharing this, Jude.

If there was a significant "We" then there wouldn't be the concern for having talents in place for a situation requiring martial law, but America now is not the America of the last depression, there is no We, and I guarantee if major collapse happens, you will want martial law.

i posted this in 'general community' cause it clearly impacts us all in the most significant ways.

barry moved it to 'reader' cause he feels it belongs there.

wondering: do you think this is an item for 'general community' or 'reader'?

I wonder if they'll be serving organic meals in the FEMA camp I'll be put in. And damn, it looks like I'll miss Burning Man again. Wait...maybe they'll turn Burning Man into a FEMA camp! That would be the FEMA camp where all the cool kids go.

I wondered about why it wasn't in "general community", but maybe it will be, once they're actually in our community. Hope it won't be too late to be forewarned.

Just wondered if you'll be volunteering to participate in this upcoming "practice", so you can be more prepared to take orders when the time comes.

The strangeness continues in America ..

When I first saw this story I thought that it was just "fear porn", you know shut up all of the activists who are rebelling against the oligarchy by starting martial law drills ... now I'm not too sure about it ... the suspicions voiced on the internet are all over the place ranging from theories about a huge training exercise for the purpose of continued war in the Middle East to theories that our Southern border is under attack ...

This is a well publicized drill so we are supposed to know about it ... that in itself is interesting ... it does seem like more drama along the lines of the Ferguson protests, the ebola crises, etc ... if the purpose of this is distraction and fear then it's working ...

I just came across this link ... it's all very strange and unsettling ... I will say that the intimidation in my own life since I started posting revealing information about modern weaponry and protocols of control has been noticeable ... I've had military jets fly over my home, black helicopters suddenly appearing wherever I am, police showing up consistently on my route, etc... this has also been reported by other activists in the county who are now laying low and afraid ...

When one thinks of the police state being reported by so many citizens and the Patriot Act which reduced our constitution to toilet paper, one has to wonder ... what on earth is going on in America? ... is this all just intimidation so that we will all tow the line or are these actual threats?

And I'll bring several thousand tinfoil hats to help protect us from the mind control that the evil US government and its Socialist Muslim dictator Obama will be perpetrating against the disarmed, defenseless, and freedom loving American people.

Edward,

I really do not want to see this thread turned into a "mind control" discussion because that is not it's intent, but since I assume that your comment is sarcastic, I thought that I would point out that this subject is under investigation around the world as a very real threat ... it is in no way laughable ....

"During the summer of 1977 The New York Times published 30 articles about the CIA and mind control. But ten years before they’d already published a first editorial under the heading “Push-Button People” and demanding a public debate of the threat. As stated in their first editorial on mind control, 10th of April 1967, in relation to the possible political applications they mentioned: “It is quite conceivable that in some countries investigations may be under way into the possibility of using these techniques to control human beings...the mere existence of such a possibility is disturbing, and certainly merits wider public discussion and greater attention than it has received up to now.” Britain, Sweden and U.S. were among these nations."

Edward,

Point taken, but what is this in reference to?

My last post on this thread quoted the New York Times and Jade Helm is all over the media, both traditional and alternative ... in many articles it is mentioned that Americans are afraid of this exercise, in spite of the official explanation, because of the previous assaults on our freedoms ... this article spells it out ... you can dispute the source if you like, but there are at least thirty other sources that I could post all saying the same thing ...

Thanks for posting this, Edward. What an incredible list! Where does Adams find time to look up other conspiracy theories he hasn't discovered yet? Wouldn't you think there'd be right-wing groups that would rise up against him? Something on the order of, "This guy's living on welfare and Obamacare and foodstamps, getting us taxpayers to pay for his obsession. Throw him into Guantanamo!" Hmmm. On the other hand, I guess these guys don't need new stuff after all. Besides, it's obvious we should be suspicious of something that calls itself "Natural News." Mr. Natural wouldn't like that at all!

to be clear, i count myself amongst 9/11 truthers and clearly see that what some call 'conspiracy theories' is simply how the world is run. the profit motive supports the pharmaceutical, food and all other industries (which pay for the politicians which run the governments), far sooner have us all sicken and die if they make more moolah. period.
saying that mike is "accused…" is morally dubious.
i'm not taking the time to go through the rest of the allegations.

while i don't take everything mike says as gospel (course, gospel is just one guy's opinion), i have been grateful for a great deal of information on his website through the years and likely have more in common with him than many others, certainly many of the "mainstream media" who work indirectly or directly for the concerns which own the world, and whose hands they will not bite, but lick.

There is now talk of new orders made by Homeland Security for riot gear ... I'm wondering if this story is true ... I'm not sure that I trust this prepper website ...

https://www.shtfplan.com/headline-news/are-they-arming-for-riots-across-america-homeland-stockpiling-less-lethal-specialty-munitions_04032015

If true, this seems interesting because, in spite of constant attacks on our Constitutional rights, Americans seem quite docile ... I'm seeing a lot of doomsday stories about our currency becoming worthless because of the abandonment of the Petrol dollar and the BRICS development ... not sure about any of this though ...

People will riot in competition with each other for survival, but not against the government, because they know they don't have a chance. Being docile may mean survival.... What can we do? The only power we really have is how we spend our money, but people aren't willing to do what it takes.

You're right, but if one's survival is being compromised by one's government then people will riot against the government ... at some point the cost of staying silent becomes greater then the cost of action ... that's when governments get into trouble ... the "nothing to lose" reality ...

Regarding this drill ... Americans are concerned ... so concerned that the militias will be attending and observing ... we could be close to a tipping point ... I'm watching activist after activist calling for arrests of corrupt bankers and politicians, and that is not happening ...

Concerns about Jade Helm are exploding all over the internet ... I am the first to admit that it's really difficult to determine just what is happening ... reports include a concern over the rounding up of the "red group" of so-called dissidents or those who question government actions, ... some are questioning the closing of Walmarts and citing possible connections to Jade Helm, ... there are reports pointing to the drill possibly going live and ushering in martial law ... some think that we are about to fall financially and that there will be riots in the streets .... and there are those who even believe that we are under attack and that this force is meant to counteract that ... it's all very confusing ...

Here are few opinions from people that I respect ... the first is from constitutional lawyer John Whitehead ...

Much of the Max Igan interview focused on economic collapse as the precursor to the "rehearsal drill" going "live". Today's James Kunstler rant (they come out every Monday at https://kunstler.com/clusterfuck-nation, well written and interesting) focuses on that. Reprinted below, at last count there were 112 responses.

Clusterfuck Nation – Blog (https://kunstler.com/writings/clusterfuck-nation/) April 27, 2015
Money Worries (https://kunstler.com/clusterfuck-nation/money-worries/)

The cynicism among the informed classes has never been so deep. Even the pompom boys in the cheerleading clubs like CNBC and The Wall Street Journal express wonderment at the levitation of stock indexes and bond values. They chatter about a “correction” of 20 percent being a healthful tonic that would clear away some dross and quickly usher in a new episode of “growth” — or growthiness, which, like truthiness, became an acceptable approximation of the real thing. The truth, as opposed to truthiness, is they no longer believe their own bullshit about growthiness.

The suppression of interest rates and pervasive accounting fraud has thundered through the financial system, and the deformities caused by it have emerged in currency war, currency instability, trade collapse, and political crisis. Years of central bank intervention have stolen the capital of the future to construct a Potemkin economy meant to conceal the sickening gyre of diminishing returns strangling business as usual.

Until it collapses by a great deal more than the wished-for mere 20 percent, more perversities will be piled onto the already existing burden. Is it not a wonder that professionalized interest groups like AARP have not screamed bloody murder over the suppression of interest rates which deprives its members of bank account and bond interest on savings? Instead AARP, like virtually every enterprise in America, has turned to racketeering. Don’t worry, they’ll be gone from the scene soon enough.

The next shoe to drop will be various forms of bail-ins and attempts to prevent bank account and money market holders from getting access to their cash. A withdrawal above $2,000 already can trigger a report to the IRS. The next step will be to put a simple ceiling on withdrawals. Will that trigger public ire? Who knows? Nothing yet has in the USA. The meme currently circulating is the fear that government would like to abolish cash altogether and put in a regime of all-electronic money. Being allergic to conspiracy ideas, I’m skeptical about this idea, but I really can’t dismiss it.

A cashless society would conceptually allow government much more leak-proof control of all citizen money transactions. Mainly it could funnel tax revenue into the treasury much more efficiently. It raises some obvious practical concerns, such as: would such a program lead to an enhanced colossal skim of credit card company off-creaming? And what about the percentage of poorer Americans who don’t have credit cards or bank accounts now, either because they don’t understand how it all works, or they’re forced to function in the “gray” economy for one reason or another (e.g. a drug felony rap). And what kind of as-yet-unknown perverse work-arounds would this new system provoke?

I put the question to a table of college-educated people last night and their response was surprising: utter complacency. They’re already used to paying for most things with plastic, they said, and their employer already withholds a big part of their regular paycheck for taxes, so what does it matter? They couldn’t grok the possibility that a cashless money system might easily deprive them of access to whatever reserves they have. Or perhaps, more specifically, they couldn’t imagine an economic or political emergency that might provoke such a situation.

They might find out sooner than they realize. As I suggest in the lede, apprehension is growing that some kind of “corrective” event is at hand on the financial scene. Even the supposedly salubrious 20 percent S & P drop could set off a chorus of margin calls that would make the trumpets of Jericho sound like a kazoo concert. What will Americans do if they can’t get their money out of the banks? The last time this happened, 1933, we were a hard-up but polite and highly-regimented society, and the automatic rifle was a novelty restricted to a relatively tiny army and Al Capone’s crew. Behind the financial jitters of the informed minority is the greater fear of social unrest.

good rant ... thanks ...

it's all so familiar ... lots of people talking about financial collapse right now, unfortunately ...

America has been ripped off and I'm not even thinking of the Federal Reserve, though it's ludicrous to pay someone else to print our money ... we've had trade agreements that have destroyed manufacturing, bogus banking practices without any accountability or prosecution, constant wars that benefit the arms dealers and the military industrial complex and not much else ... ridiculous prices in the medical industry and the military ... you know, the 800 dollar wrench, etc. ... and then there's just basic criminal looting ... billions of dollars missing from the pentagon, etc etc etc ... and what happened to the gold in the world trade center? .... etc, etc ... a free for all if you ask me ... and it goes on ....

yes, a financial collapse could be ugly ... we have more guns in this country then anywhere else in the world ... time to plan for the worst perhaps, just in case ...

oh, and the cashless thing ... Aaron Russo, a great movie maker and activist, met with one of the Rockefellers who told him that the financial elite wanted everyone chipped ... and on the chip would be your money allowance ... you do or say something that they don't like, they turn off the chip .... true story ... video on the internet from a true American hero who died early for his activism ...
