this is actually a great demonstration of the difficulties in arguing any position. The guy accusing Nye of making straw-man arguments makes a very solid debate-team style case. More importantly, it provides support to anyone who just doesn't want to accept Nye's position.
When this can be done to an argument about something as ludicrous as the literal reality of an animal-rescue operation in historical times necessitated by a world-wide flood, it shows how easily it can be done when discussing modern highly-technical issues.

I wish Bill Nye had this for the debate, for me the whole thing that keeps Christians in a cul-de-sac is the insistence on an inerrant bible, meaning wrote by god, no errors no way, I would find it interesting to participate with attempting to fit the pieces of history together with the writings if it were not for that insistence that this is the outcome of the Authorship of God
