Amazing synchronicity! I just told my friend today that I need a new car and will check with BAR to see if I can retire it next month, which is 2 years since I was given the car. I retired my old Buick and got $1500 for it. This is a wonderful thing everyone should know about.

Thank you Jude. I have donated (every retired vehicle I have owned) to Polly Klaas ever since her dad started this foundation. (They) are local (Petaluma) and work to find missing children.

tim, you might want to inquire more about organizations you support, especially significantly and ongoingly. There was a kerfuffle about this foundation's integrity some years ago, and i don't know if/how it was resolved.

I can remember where I was when (Polly’s) abduction happened. (As a father myself) I could relate to Mark's devastating loss, so I've let my heart decide to commit to this foundation. I will continue to donate to this local organizationin in the future too.<o:p></o:p>

Be mindful of the time limits between registration of the vehicle and application to the retirement program ... I missed out on this because too much time had elapsed ...
