OCCUPY TRUTHS
My heart has been broken and it can’t be fixed.<o:p></o:p>
This “Test” of Love and faith is too riddled with tricks.<o:p></o:p>
It’s all too immoral and filled with fraudulent lies.<o:p></o:p>
There’s too much deception behind such beautiful eyes.<o:p></o:p>
It’s all a fantasy of deluded and twisted minds.<o:p></o:p>
This emotion so sweet yet it all feels too unkind.<o:p></o:p>
They speak of truth yet only proffer up lies.<o:p></o:p>
They bind the world up in self-righteous ties.<o:p></o:p>
It’s incomprehensible in this crazy spate.<o:p></o:p>
But just look at this world and see all of its hate.<o:p></o:p>
It’s a story for Jerry, or Maury or Steve.<o:p></o:p>
While our children pay dearly and silently grieve.<o:p></o:p>
You speak of Intuitions and attractions and such.<o:p></o:p>
But here in the real world things haven’t changed much.<o:p></o:p>
You claim to be experts where “Love” is concerned.<o:p></o:p>
But look behind me, where every bridge you have burned.
<o:p> </o:p>
Who’s raising our child, who’s taking the time?<o:p></o:p>
You always take credit while spending my dime.<o:p></o:p>
A new century is dawning and ahead all I see<o:p></o:p>
Is more of the past dishonest and unfree.
<o:p> </o:p>
You speak of emotions but only show one.<o:p></o:p>
Manipulating is joy, and your web is now spun.<o:p></o:p>
Not one thing will change here if we don’t speak the truth.<o:p></o:p>
This psychosis is sickness and it robs everyone’s youth.<o:p></o:p>
You got liberated in the 60s to go find your true self.<o:p></o:p>
Now 40 years after, love collects dust on the shelf.<o:p></o:p>
It’s collecting these memories and decaying with time.<o:p></o:p>
And this truth gets denied while you kick it further on down the line.<o:p></o:p>
You’ve torn up our hearts now and then questioned our faith.<o:p></o:p>
Who’s playing “God”now? Your own judgment awaits.<o:p></o:p>
You can’t keep projecting this posture of lies.<o:p></o:p>
Wake up from this slumber; try to see with honest eyes.<o:p></o:p>
Not one of us is perfect, so stop all this blame.<o:p></o:p>
Just Occupy “Truth” and rekindle this flame.<o:p></o:p>
Please give us some hope and look deeper within<o:p></o:p>
This delusion of hypocrisy is the real original sin.
<o:p> </o:p>
Just open your hearts now and just do your best<o:p></o:p>
The time has come for you to pass this Love Test.<o:p></o:p>
Our kids are all looking at your model of true love<o:p></o:p>
While walking the dark streets as sex slaves to your love.
<o:p> </o:p>
If you really cared here you’d pull them all back<o:p></o:p>
But when you do nothing, they walk right in your track.<o:p></o:p>
The power is within us but when your memory fades<o:p></o:p>
You hide in the darkness and pull down all the shades.<o:p></o:p>
Just prove you are honest and let this journey begin.<o:p></o:p>
But to walk in the light one must examine their own sins.<o:p></o:p>
You claim to be Captain and it’s you at the helm.<o:p></o:p>
But the immutable truth is far below the Alpha Realm.<o:p></o:p>
Please spare me your lectures, and re-examine your hate<o:p></o:p>
Stop pointing your fingers and transform everyone’s fate.<o:p></o:p>
It’s time to wakeup now and stop all these games<o:p></o:p>
Try to learn something new here and rewire your brain.<o:p></o:p>
It’s the old double-standard pointing the finger of blame<o:p></o:p>
But we all know the truth now, 4 point back at your name.<o:p></o:p>
You keep making promises but fail to comply,<o:p></o:p>
In the courts of Law, all your perjuries belie.<o:p></o:p>
Most animals are treated with more dignity and respect<o:p></o:p>
While Love and Romance get bounced like a rubber check.<o:p></o:p>
Please look at yourself and stop all of this blame<o:p></o:p>
Step up to the plate and start showing some shame.<o:p></o:p>
Where is all this love that you profoundly profess?<o:p></o:p>
Try living the truth here and re-take this “Emotional Test.”<o:p></o:p>
You scream and you swear you’re all virgin and pure<o:p></o:p>
But after the DNA is read you say now that you’re unsure.<o:p></o:p>
You bewitch us with carnal pleasures until you’ve set up your trap,<o:p></o:p>
But I’d chew off my own foot to be freed from this fictitious crap.<o:p></o:p>
And if you think we have any value, then please give us our due.<o:p></o:p>
Look ahead in this 21st century and begin both our journeys anew.<o:p></o:p>
Truth, Integrity and Dignity are inextricably combined.<o:p></o:p>
