I’ve never kissed your soft moist lips <o:p></o:p>

Or caressed your cheeks with my fingertips, <o:p></o:p>

Or ran my hand up and down your spine, <o:p></o:p>

Or held you tight in these arms of mine.<o:p></o:p>

How can I ignore you when I truly do adore you?<o:p></o:p>

What’s the use? There’s no excuse, <o:p></o:p>

To love you the way that I do.<o:p></o:p>

I’ve never put you out of my mind, <o:p></o:p>

With your beautiful face and a heart so kind.<o:p></o:p>

The more I try to ignore you, the more I find I adore you.<o:p></o:p>

What’s the use? There’s no excuse!<o:p></o:p>

It’s like putting the Moon back into hiding,<o:p></o:p>

Or like telling the Sun not to shine today.<o:p></o:p>

These are things that are just impossible to do.<o:p></o:p>
