Elon Musk teased us all before he unveiled... "the D." It's a beefed up take on the Model S all-electric vehicle, with features including "self park" and being able to "greet" passengers, on top of very fast accelerations - 0 - 60 mph in 3.2 seconds. Oddly, it's more power efficient than previous models, despite having more power. It wasn't the announcement of the oft-teased Model X - the SUV, or the 3 - the less-expensive addition to the pricey Tesla lineup. Do Musk's announcements mean a major change to the automobile market as a whole? What about the laws as they apply to highly automized vehicles?
