Which is the bigger crime here?<o:p></o:p>
To kill my own spirit and anger God or,<o:p></o:p>
Continue to exist in this hollow shell called flesh?<o:p></o:p>
What lesson am I to learn from this incarceration called loneliness?<o:p></o:p>
Are all my prayers scattered to the winds like the wheat from the chaff?<o:p></o:p>
Faith and Hope bring no relief, mere bandages on a bleeding and broken heart and spirit.<o:p></o:p>
I will be better remembered dead tomorrow, than alive today.<o:p></o:p>
Are my cries heard by no one, neither man nor woman?<o:p></o:p>
If I take my own life now, who will even care?<o:p></o:p>
Why continue this folly any longer?<o:p></o:p>
Why, more questions than answers?<o:p></o:p>
Is there no heart aching now for me?<o:p></o:p>
Why do these crimes of the heart continue?<o:p></o:p>
Are we all caught up in our own id-ridden ego’s?<o:p></o:p>
Can we not comfort our own fellow man or woman?<o:p></o:p>
Are we as ships adrift at sea without a sail or compass?<o:p></o:p>
When will my dreams fit into reality?<o:p></o:p>
When will reality replace my dreams?<o:p></o:p>
Why do crimes of the heart continue?<o:p></o:p>
Who will be changed by this one event?<o:p></o:p>
Who, oh who will come to my rescue?<o:p></o:p>
Is there no compassionate ear to listen?<o:p></o:p>
Is there no warrant for my imprisonment?<o:p></o:p>
When will this sentence of social isolation end?<o:p></o:p>
Why do these crimes of the heart still continue?<o:p></o:p>
I have freed many yet none have freed me.<o:p></o:p>
They will all blame me for my crime of loneliness.<o:p></o:p>
Why do crimes of the heart continue?<o:p></o:p>
So, let them reflect on their own emptiness within,<o:p></o:p>
For crimes of the heart will always want to win.<o:p></o:p>
