Alternative financial advisor needed

My partner and I are looking for a financial adviser that charges by the hour and not commission. Someone that is thinking 'out side the box.' We need grounded, simple advise from someone that is not just going to advise us about stocks, funds, etc that they are going to gain a commission from.
Does anyone out there have anyone they've used with success?
