Yes! Amtrak's California Zephyr leaves Emeryville on Sept. 16, arriving in NYC on Sept. 19. It will be stopping all across the country to pick up more marchers, plus there will be workshops, etc. onboard. Epic!
The only down side is that they are sold out of sleeper cars. I (and others) have requested that more be added, but so far, not. But, if you can handle 3 days of sitting in coach, it will be an historical journey! Otherwise, fly there and mitigate in other ways. It is SO IMPORTANT to attend. The march will be on Sept. 21, the International Day of Peace AND the opening day of the United Nations. The U.N. climate summit will begin on Sept. 23 with Pres. Obama in attendance. T
hey expect the march to be huge -- 10's of 1,000's of people from all over the world will be there to voice the urgent actions needed to be instituted by governments before ...... well, you know.
