Phone provider recommendations?

I'm about to move to a place that includes free Internet. I'm currently getting Internet and phone in Sonic's package deal "Fusion", but Sonic doesn't provide phone without the Internet. I'd like to avoid going back to AT&T. Can anyone recommend a land-line phone provider that's not too expensive? (If there's not much savings involved, I might just keep my Sonic Fusion and forego the free Internet service at the new home.)

You could try out Google Voice. I only use it for SMS but it's supposed to be fine for audio too. The price is right...
