Wanted: Sweet, Small, Mutt Puppy

We're a good home looking for a puppy. We have rescued many older animals, and this time we really want a puppy, so, nothing more than four months old, please.

We would prefer a pup that's going to grow up to be fairly small, and will get along well with other animals.

No breeders, and no expensive purebred dogs, please. We want mutt-strength!

First, I want to thank everyone who has responded with suggestions. We have found our puppy!

Second, would anyone happen to know of a cheap or free small animal carrier? We could use another for the cats, and now one for a small-to-medium dog.
