I was wondering if anyone knows anything about landlords that still accept section 8. I just received it and I heard its really hard to find anyone that accepts it. I have lived here my whole life and I don't want to move out of this beautiful county. I need a home close to nature or any home at all. This is finally my chance. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Yes, they do but hard to find. My ex had section 8 housing (now cursed) and I know someone else who just got it and found a place. She works at a property mngmt place which I unfortunately can't remember the name of. The manager is named Marilyn and is a bitch and the person I know who works there is Georgeanne. Maybe that will ring a bell with someone. Good luck.

There are some places around that take Section 8. Here's the rub: they typically have waiting lists ranging from 6 months to 4+ years. I happen to be in the process of compiling an updated list of local affordable housing and have some info I could share. If you want to call me at five two seven six one six three I can give you some actual info with phone numbers to call for housing developments that take Section 8.
