View Full Version : Best Way to get to Oakland Airport?

Hey all-I'm not from around here originally. I was house sitting here and need to get to Oakland Airport on Wednesday morning (leaving Sebastopol around 7:30 or 8 am I believe). How long does it realistically take and what is the best way to get there without a vehicle? Or anyone headed that way at the same time possibly?

You might want to try Craigslist, ride-share...Other than that, the Airporter might be your best bet.
The only other alternative would be taking the Golden Gate Transit, to S.F., and catching Bart, from there to the Oakland Airport.

Take the Airport Express shuttle from the Santa Rosa Park and Ride, under Highway 12 in front of the Sonoma County Fairgrounds. Shuttle ride takes two hours or so. You need to check their schedule and be sure you get there on time, because the shuttle runs only every two hours, I believe. You'll need a ride to the Park and Ride to catch the shuttle. Better hurry!
