I receive the Daily Digest late afternoon. It contains the posts from the previous day. So when you post your yard sale, event, meeting, etc. the day before it happens, I won't know about it. I have read several posts of things I would have attended but they were over or already started. :hmmm:

 Post a couple of days prior please.

One way to check the most recent posts, before you get the Digest, is to click on "Recent Posts" in the right hand corner. I just clicked it, and saw a post that came in a short time after I received the Digest. But, I do agree that many people who wait til the last mintue miss out on customers.

Each day's digest contains posts from Noon the prior day to Noon on the current day. The digest starts going out at 3pm and usually finishes around 6pm. You then should allow people time to read it. So if you are promoting an evening event, I suggest you get it into the prior day's digest, which means posting it no later than noon the day before the event. Giving people an extra day or three to plan to go the event is recommended, along with posting an advance notice about 10 days before the event.

I was looking for a music performance that was listed a few weeks ago and tried the WACCO calendar and it was not listed. Is there a way for event postings to be automatically posted on the calendar?

We are planning to upgrade our events and calendar system later this year, including sorting events by date!

For the time being I suggest you use the Events, Classes and Meeting category and use the "Search this Category" and or the Prefix filter to help you find posts.
