I'd like to invite you to join a cat rescue organization called Purebreds Plus. We specialize in the rescue and adoption of cats who belong to an identified breed. The cat may not necessarily be "pure" but generally must strongly express characteristics of a recognized breed. See our web page at www.purebredsplus.org (https://www.purebredsplus.org) for the cats we currently have up for adoption. Here's Tasha, my Russian Blue foster.

Specializing in pure breds and near pure breds allows us to cater to a certain clientele different from the one that the shelters, Petsmart, Adopt-a-Pet and other agencies do.
We have no shelter building where we can house cats while they are waiting for adoption. Instead, the cats are rescued from shelters, hoarder situations, neglectful or abusive owners, feral colonies, or other sub-par living situations, and once they are vetted, they go to a foster home to live as the foster parent's temporary pet until the cat goes to their forever home. Sometimes we have "failed fosters," who make the relationship permanent. We have lost many foster slots that way, as most local ordinances limit households to 4-5 cats.
We have foster homes all over Northern California. So far there are none in Sonoma County. Will you provide a temporary haven to a deserving soul who needs your help? To apply as a volunteer and take the "Catnip Promise" go to
