Urgently seeking a one-bedroom apartment (or house or granny unit) in Sebastopol (or west Petaluma or central Santa Rosa) within 1 mile of downtown, for a very responsible tenant: a female author, poet, and retired professor who is moving here from Massachusetts. Good references; good credit and rental history.
Looking for a rental that's available starting around mid-late-June or early-mid-July, ideally
(but a start date almost anytime in June, July, or early August would be OK).
Requirements:
- within 15-minute walk of a grocery store and a bus line [no car]
- full bathroom with a tub
- no cat dander (i.e., no cats lived there recently, or all carpeting will be professionally cleaned), due to cat allergies
Preferences: on-site laundry; plenty of natural light (windows) in most rooms; and a small outdoor/garden space or porch or balcony would be ideal, though not a necessity.
A 2nd-floor unit is fine. A lease is fine.
Maximum of about $1,300/month. Less than that would be preferable.
