A friend in Fairfax is seeking someone (female preferred) as a caregiver. In her words,
this describes the kind of assistance she's needing:
I'm looking for two female caregivers for me, a woman: two to five days Monday-Sunday from
9:30am to about 7pm. I'm also looking for backup caregivers.
I live in Fairfax 15 min. west of San Rafael. I'm looking for someone who ideally lives within
a half-hour commute. Must have a reliable car and speak and write fluent English, and be able
to work legally in the U.S.
I need someone who is available to do household tasks, including helping me care for my cat,
as well as helping me with brushing my teeth, bathing (need to be Ok with a fair amount of heat)
and washing my hair. I also need someone who is comfortable making phone calls for me and
comfortable online with email, Word and navigating websites.
Good stamina needed. I need someone who is very calm, gentle, patient, grounded, kind and
emotionally mature. Some experience with caregiving, a big capacity to help and a real
understanding of the responsibility involved are needed.
